"We loved our stay and enjoyed the peaceful environment and escape away from the noise of the town and from our recent trip to Naples. The outdoor pool was breathtaking and never overcrowded. The balcony connected to our room was expansive and we could watch the sunset or sunrise from there. Truly beautiful. I wish they had a small store in the hotel where you could purchase mini snacks when it’s too late to travel into town or toiletry items but not a big deal. We would love to come back and stay again when in Sorrento! Amazing staff!"

"The Melrose is a gorgeous place to stay away from the hustle & bustle of Sorrento. The pool area & gardens are lovely as is the outside bar - every little detail has been thought of, it’s a lovely place to spend time relaxing. We stayed in the delux double room which is very spacious, the only downside is, it doesn’t have an outdoor seating area whereas most of the other rooms do. Dining at the hotel was excellent with a great dinner choice - the outdoor terrace where dinner is served has stunning views across the bay to Naples. Breakfast was also very good with great hot & cold choices. The staff are brilliant & so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Due up the location of the hotel, the centre of Sorrento can be reached by using the excellent bus service that stops near to the hotel. We loved our holiday at The Melrose & can’t recommend it highly enough as a lovely, calming place to stay ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "

"Best view of ocean & Capri. Comfortable, clean, staff that made it seem like home. Good value for ghe price. Nice that breakfast was included. Incredible massage in the spa - great price too! Would recommend it. But, not walkable to anything, and a busy/noisy road."

"Fantastic place to stay outside of the hussle and bustle of Sorrento. Free shuttle bus to town every hour was priceless. Good breakfast options but was busy if you weren’t there early. "

"Beautiful resort, away from the hustle and bustle of town centre, peaceful, beautiful views, superb pool and opulent restaurant. Better to have a car, though we used public transport (bus), frequency was low but it was timely and saved us from driving on winding roads. Renting a car would have increased our mobility. View from the hotel was lovely, it was peaceful to sit in the terrace and watch sunset. Pool was excellent, kids loved it, it was busy and sun loungers were in high demand. Restaurant on the premises was great, better quality than some restaurants in the town and at better price and no cover charges. Staff was friendly and provided guidance wherever needed. Book tours from the hotel, more convenient at they offer pick and drop from the hotel. "
