"We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were all extremely easy to communicate with and very friendly. The room far exceeded our expectations and was cozy. The location to the beach is amazing. The hot water was hot and shower pressure was great too. Pet friendly! Never had an issue with having our dogs with us. We are 100% looking forward to staying again in the future. Can’t say enough good things and so glad we were able to find this cute oceanfront inn."

"Maybe it's because the beach was perfect and the weather was great, but this was a wonderful stay. We had a seventh floor balcony.The only thing we could see was the pool, the boardwalk and the ocean.very private. I guess I expected a beach hotel to have some sand or some dampness.But this place was as clean as could be. There was what you would usually expect for a free breakfast... Bonus of having three waffle makers and different hot item every day.Which is fine by me. They have a little tiki bar outside with wonderful sea breezes and a beautiful pool that was never too busy. I think what I enjoy the most is that everything shuts down at eleven p m.So there's just the ocean and the breeze and not a lot of chaos and noise."

"We arrived late in the evening and check in was a little disorganized as the front desk rep had to go and check on a room to make sure it was clean before they would let us to the room. A = Odd that this single room wouldn't have been cleaned already and B = Why not just provide a room you KNOW is cleaned instead of the customer having to stand and wait at the front desk for the rep to go and check? The hallways were extremley warm and humid. I understand it's not a space that needs to be fridgid, but it is a common space and a cofortable temp would be nice for guests. Room was alright. AC was cold, which is welcoming for a hot summer visit. The bathroom was average and the shower was poor with signs of "black" around the edges of the shower basin and corners of the basin. Seems like a little scrubbing and bleach would resolve this. Right across street was a homeless camp. Didn't feel unsafe, but still a little scetchy when leaving your car parked in the lot. Breakfast buffet was decent. Those stupid conveyor pancake maker machine are so problematic (not the hotel/facility fault)... just replace with those waffles makers. the machine was having issues 2 out of the 4 mornings we were there. Selection was good for hot food. Biscuits & Gravy, Cheese Omelets, Potato, Bacon/Sausage, Oatmeal, Cereal, Breads, Juices. Would we stay again, potentially. No EV Chargers on site. Would be great if the hotel would add two Level 2 chargers for guests...huge perk and draw with those."

"Listen, this isn’t a 5 star hotel, but I’d prefer to stay here more than other places in Wilmington. The staff is exceptional! The front desk staff is always friendly and efficient. Anything I’ve ever needed from them was addressed quickly and to my satisfaction. The hotel is clean and well kept for the age of the hotel. Every time I’ve stayed I’ve noticed something they’ve been updating in the rooms. When you need a quiet and friendly place to lay your head, I’d always recommend them for the value. Lots of more expensive places to stay in Wilmington and I’ve stayed at several of them. I’ve always come back to the Sleep Inn. If you are about value for your dollar, and who isn’t these days, this is my suggestion."
