"The cottage is in a great location close to Main Street and the harbor. Easy parking at the cottage and it’s in a walkable area. Decor is cute and nautical, but it does feel like the cottage is missing a few things. It sleeps 4, but there is not enough seating for 4 in the living room. An additional comfortable chair would be nice. A stackable washer and dryer would also be great, but there is very little space for anything- we even had trouble finding spots for our luggage. Sea Crest Beach Resort

"When we checked in on July 5, that was very busy so the room was not ready, but after that, the state was excellent"

"The Falmouth Inn is in a great location, especially if you're taking the Island Queen Ferry to Martha's Vineyard—it's just a short walk away. Overall, the hotel appeared reasonably clean, but it had a slightly worn, not-quite-clean feel. When we checked in, there weren't any towels in the bathroom, but a staff member who was working nearby quickly brought some to our room, which we appreciated. The indoor pool was nice, although I don't think the retractable roof has ever been opened. Opening it on nice days would make the pool area much more enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast was basic but well stocked. One small improvement would be upgrading the plastic utensils—they were too flimsy to cut even simple breakfast items. Parking was another challenge. The lot filled up quickly, and we barely found a space when we returned later in the evening. Since the hotel doesn't issue parking permits or passes, I couldn't help but wonder if some non-guests use the lot to walk to the nearby ferry. Overall, we had a decent stay. The hotel met our needs for the two nights we were in town, and its convenient location was definitely its biggest advantage."

Hyannis Harbor Hotel

"This hotel feels like a small resort tucked away by the Hyannis harbor. It is a bit of a walk from Main St (15min) but still totally doable. Parking is a little crazy (understandably, as it's a prime location) and it's important for guests to know to take their room key with them when they leave, as it is needed to exit the parking lot. There is a key dropbox at the gate. If you forget your key in the room, there is a button to buzz the front desk to operate the gate. Otherwise, the pool and hot tub are amazing, the rooms are large and modern, everything is impeccably clean, and the Bluewater Grille on site has delicious food and drink options. My only complaint was I couldn't get a frozen pina colada (I wanted one because the vibe by the pool is so relaxing and fun!). We will definitely be making this our new annual spot at the Cape."

"We enjoyed a 5 day/4 night stay over the Fourth of July holiday where we enjoyed a family friendly environment. I’ll start with the best feature- you are ON the ocean. The view is spectacular! When the tide is out nature provides a glorious beach! On high tide, you can walk down the stairs and take a dip, Always available is the enormous patio area with ample seating. Photos provided. We were lucky to enjoy several evenings of excellent live music on the patio- so much fun! Please keep this up! Drinks and bar food (fried) are flowing at the Sandbar Lounge which is part of the hotel and shares the patio space. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly staff and their attentiveness to their guests is impressive. Taylor asked how we were enjoying our stay, as did the very kind housekeeping staff. when we needed fresh towels, recommendations, etc. they were so helpful! The breakfast each day is a simple with no frills, but it was fresh and always restocked. Dry cereal (Fruit Loops and Bran Flakes) are available 24/7 in the dining area. The dining area includes to large televisions that had the news/ World Cup on for guests to enjoy. The rooms have been recently remodeled to be modern and comfortable- USB outlets, heated mirror in bathroom. Brand new large shower, great water pressure and hot water. Excellent air conditioning throughout (several days during our stay were 100+ degrees). Don’t let the exterior fool you. We will be back. Keep up the excellent work!"
