I like very much the hospitable place, very friendly stuff. This is a rustic hotel, the furniture is rustic but the bathroom was beautiful and modern, one block away from the church and plaza, you will wake up to the church bells very early. They offer parking space in a enclosed garage very convenient if you are driving. I will come back when in Mascota.

We stayed at Meson de Santa Elena on X-Mas Eve. The hotel with a very distinguished traditional architecture is located down the street from the main Church in Mascota. You can easily walk to everything from there. We rented a suite that was spacious and very quiet. The person at the reception, the cleaning ladies, the persons in charge of breakfast: everyone was attentive and kind. I highly recommend Mesón de Santa Elena and a visit to Mascota.

This is a nice hotel, very clean and a nice made-to-order breakfast included. The staff are pretty quiet and friendly, but only engage you when ask specific questions, even in Spanish. It is easily walkable to the principal Plaza. No AC so a little bit warm and there happened to be street construction occurring right around the hotel, which was a parking inconvenience but other than that not a problem.

A fantastic stay in a beautiful old building. Our room was beautifully appointed and we got a hearty hot breakfast. The SERVICE was amazing. Fernando greeted us like family and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Mascota, by the way, is well worth the trip

This boutique hotel is over 200 years old. The rooms are spacious Ours had a private patio with a fountain. The staff was very accommodating. The cleanliness and decor was excellent. The rooms do not have air conditioning or heat, so I cannot imagine what it would be like during the summer or winter months. Only one issue I feel the price is too high for the location.

The hotel is quite beautiful and the room we got was away from the main road, so pretty quiet. The one thing that was problematic was the heat. You get an oscilating fan (no A/C) and the room temp was just too much for comfort. The beds were hard and being so close to the mountains, there are all kinds of critters inside the room. Breakfast was included and delicious.

Excelente atención y amabilidad del Fernando el gerente del hotel, nos orientó para ir a cenar y nos explicó la historia de la casona. Gracias también por servirnos desayuno más temprano de lo habitual para poder ir a la carrera.Muy amables la chica y su mamá que nos sirvieron un café de olla espectacular. Muy bonita la finca , muy cómoda, agua caliente perfecta.

Wonderful experience for our 42nd wedding anniversary. Beautiful old Mexican hotel with antiques throughout. Very large room opening up to a vista of an orange filled tree and lush mountains. Very friendly staff and delicious breakfasts. Not to forget the dozen fresh red roses in our room and they didn't know it was a special occasion for us.
