"We enjoyed our relaxing spa weekend away at Schloss Roxburghe. We stayed in one of the cottages. Very cosy, very clean. However there were factors that could have been improved such as service from staff being relatively poor and check in and check out times are transient. Apart from these minor issues, there is nothing major to complain about this hotel. Would visit again!

"The staff were excellent. The food was excellent. Our dog was a bit boisterous, but the staff were understanding. The public toilet was a bit tired looking."

"Very disappointing. I paid £98 for a very basic twin room for 1 night. Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. No TV in room but was told I could watch TV downstairs if I wanted to. The shower didn't work properly - either scalding hot or dribbled out cold water. Sink took ages to drain, noisy radiator. Was only given 1 small bath towel and 1 small hand towel. Hosts very friendly and was a very...

"Excellent dog friendly accommodation. Suited our needs. Clean and comfortable. Could do with a new stair carpet but I think the owners are in the process of upgrading.
Would highly recommend "
