The breakfasts were lovely, overlooking the valley. We loved the pool area too. The accomodation itself was spacious and had everything you needed. "You simply pay for the views at this hotel. There are no frills outside of that (which was fine for my stay) the rooms had AC which was great. The staff was nice but it seems they were understaffed and simple requests took longer than other hotels I stayed at in Portugal. The buffet breakfast was convenient as there aren’t many food choices in the area to go to. I would go back simply because of the views and the relaxing property!"

"This property was spectacular!!! I when we were driving over the bridge and spotted the hotel, I was soooo excited. The location on the river is beautiful. We had a king bed, beautiful Bathroom, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the river and the bridge as the backdrop. Breakfast is included and spectacular. The staff is very helpful and informative. They booked our tours and dinners. I wish I had one more day to just stay at the hotel and enjoy all of the amenities."

"We loved our stay at Quinta de la Rosa! The hotel and the surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful. The property is about 20mins walk from Pinhao, and getting a taxi from the station is recommended if you are coming by train as there is quite a hill. The room was comfortable and well maintained. We were in Amarela which is an annex a 3 min walk away from the main property with it's own pool and living space. There are quite a few hills and step in the property, a buggy service for those with luggage might have been useful so watch out if you have heavy or large luggage. The restaurant and food was excellent, as was breakfast in the morning. Staff were extremely helpful, giving us a tour of the property and all the info we could need!"
