This hotel fit the bill for that purpose for a three-night stay, being no more than five minutes from the station on a very direct route. "Exceeded our expectations. The staff was so kind and extremely helpful. Our room was just as described. It was clean, spacious,queen bed, very comfy! We had a balcony with the most spectacular view of the mountains. Great location, wonderful amenities. We will definitely stay again when we come back.This hotel made our stay in Chamonix, perfect!"
