A gem in Old Medina

The Riad was beautiful arranged! The location excellent! Walkable distance to some monuments and restaurantes beside the main plaza. The Staff was very kind!!

Relaxing and comfortable stay

I had a fantastic stay at Riad El Borj, it was my first time in Marrakesh and Morocco and as a solo traveller feeling comfortable is so important, and I felt comfortable here. The environment was beautiful with bougainvillea flowers, orange trees and a beautiful cat, a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the souks. Everyone was very friendly and helpfull, lovely breakfast too.

A bit of Royalty

A great Riad just 2 mins walk away from the square. The team who run this place are amazing and the property is gorgeous. They were also so helpful in making sure we knew where to go and organising taxis for trips to Ait Benhaddou. We stayed in the Royal suite which was huge and great for a family stay. Would recommend this riad for your stay.

I had such an amazing time at this Ryad! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The Ryad is walking distance from many historical sites which is convenient if you don’t want to spend a lot of money on transportation. Ali was sooooo nice! He really made my stay wonderful. I highly recommend this Ryad.

Beautiful Riad. Ali and Daniel were excellent as well as all the staff. Airport transfer as well as train transfer went well. We stayed 5 nights. If you are a light sleeper you may want to stay elsewhere because of early morning prayers wake you up at 4:30-5 am every morning

Fantastic place :)

This riad is a gem in the old Medina. Very spacious, clean, beautiful. The host and the staff were very friendly and ensured we have the most comfortable stay. Even on one of the days we woke up very early to take a day tour they gave us a small bag with breakfast to take with us. These things count to make your stay more and more enjoyable. I would definitely chose this riad again if I revisit Marrakesh :)

Beautiful quiet oasis in the middle of Marrakesh

Staying in Riad El Borj made our Marrakesh experience even more memorable. It’s a beautiful oasis in the middle of very busy city. All the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, great communication from the management from the beginning. Riad is beautifully decorated and well kept, it’s full of interesting details and culture. Rooftop terrace was amazing. We stayed in the royal suite and it was just fabulous and incredibly spacious. It’s ideally located just a few minutes from the main market and the Souks. I just can’t recommend this Riad and all the people enough! What an experience!

Riad El Borj is such a lovely place to stay while in Marrakech! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful, very knowledgeable, and so welcoming. The location is great for exploring the Medina. Riad El Borj is very beautiful and comfortable. I would highly recommend Riad El Borj to anyone wanting to stay in the Medina, especially if you are looking for a place close to the square.

Nice Ryad in the heart of the Medina.

It was a pleasure meeting Daniel who was interesting to talk to and gave us lots of information about things to see and do as well as restaurant recommendations. Ali was very helpful with transfers etc. I think staying at a Ryad is a must for any trip to Morocco. We were very happy with our accommodations.

My favorite Riad.

It’s just the best service of any Riad in the area. Daniel is caring and best of all he looks after his guests. Assured we were aware of things and what to avoid. Felt like he was family. His staff is amazing and place was so clean. It’s in the heart of the old city but tucked down an unassuming corridor so it’s a bit away from the mass hustle. I’ve stayed at a lot of Riads and this is far and away the most comfortable. The staff are far and away the best and it feels a little bit like 5 star service compared to the others. The alternate building even has a little pool.

Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen (aber viele Treppen)

Über mehrere Etagen geschachteltes, d.h. einerseits treppenreiches, andererseits aber auch mit vielen privaten Rückzugsräumen und Terrassen ausgestattes Riad zentral direkt hinter dem Djama al Fna. Ein echtes Paradies mit einem traumhaftem Blick über Marrakech von der (Geheimtipp!) Dachterrasse. Leckeres und vielseitiges Frühstück. Das Zimmer war groß und sehr ruhig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der kostenfrei nutzbare Pool im Nachbarriad war leider sehr kalt und der Hof dort im ersten Moment nicht ganz so einladend (laute Bauarbeiten).

Nous avons pris la suite Royal qui est vraiment magnifique et authentique. Nous déplorons le manque d'intimité, certains clients de l'hôtel regardaient dans notre salon à travers le puit de lumière...Les mêmes clients l'ont fait plusieurs fois alors qu'ils nous voyaient. Il serai bon de mettre une signalisation sur la terrasse afin d'éviter ce genre de comportement. Je n'ai pu jouir paisiblement de la suite, je n'ai pas pu profiter le la baignoire de la salle de bain de peur que quelqu'un me regarde. Ensuite la rue dans laquelle se trouve n'est pas sécurisée. Nous avons demandé à plusieurs reprises d'être escorté dès l'embouchure, ce que l'équipe a accepté gentiment. Nous avons été déçu quant au manque de précision concernant la piscine qui se trouve dans une autre riad , nous devons marcher dans la fameuse rue pour s'y rendre. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le transfert vers le riad et l'aéroport qui sont très bien organisés. Le petit déjeuner pris dans la cour est très copieux et délicieux, la table est magnifiquement dressée. Nous avons également apprécié le ménage quotidien. Daniel et son personnel sont fort sympathiques et font preuve d'un dévouement incroyable.

Excellent!

Beau Riad avec un personnel attentionné et discret, en plein cœur de la médina. Exceptionnellement calme et reposant. La chambre est grande avec tout le confort nécessaire. Sans frigo dans la chambre, n’hésitez pas à demander à la cuisine de garder certaines choses au frais. La piscine qui se trouve dans un autre Riad juste à côté vaut le détour après une chaude journée dans le souk. Ali a été un hôte parfait. Si vous comptez vous déplacer au Maroc, demandez-lui d’organiser le transport pour vous, c’est impeccable et cela nous a énormément rassurés.

Ce riad est d'une beauté et a un charme fou à deux pas de la place Jemaa el fna. La cohue de la médina est inexistante dés l'entrée et une douce fraicheur se répand sous les orangers et les bougainvilliers en fleurs. La chambre que nous avions est gigantesque et somptueuse. L'équipe est très avenante et aux petits soins. Nous regrettons juste de ne pas être resté plus longtemps. Je recommande trés fortement ce riad.
