Excellent location, in a fairly quiet area, within easy walking distance to Medina. The staff were excellent, the Hamam and massage deal was exceptional and rejuvenating. Definitely would stay here again.

Wonderful stay

We had an amazing stay at Riad Omara Alkasbah! The Riad has gorgeous tile work and beautiful old world features in the room. The service was incredible! They made us breakfast 2 hours earlier than the set hours because we had to leave for an early tour. It was delicious and well appreciated! I would definitely recommend staying here.

I was told that breakfast was included and would start at 8:00 AM. I went to the dining area at 8:00, but there was no one there. At 8:20, a woman finally arrived, but she did not start preparing anything. I told her that I needed to leave before 8:45, but instead of preparing my breakfast, she started setting up all the tables first. As a result, I was not served on time. On top of that, her attitude toward me was very rude and unprofessional. I contacted the hotel owner, but nothing was improved. Honestly, it feels like “breakfast included” is misleading. This experience was very disappointing, especially for travelers who are on a schedule. I would not recommend this place if breakfast is important to you.

The Riad Omara came in under expectations. Most disappointing is the food. The Tagine chicken is dry like tree bark. 180 Dirham for that is borderline robbery or should i say, rubbery. Iman at the first desk is quite helpful. The room lacks basics like bottled water, fridge and good working air conditioning. The TV doesnt work. Water drains slowly in shower and sink. Roof top lounging area is tiny. Old unkept furniture .
