"Wonderful location in the hills outside Bologna. Fantastic thermal spa pools. Nice food and great staff (reception speak english). The room was basic and definitely overpriced. 2 stars at best Euro 65 per night should be the price, in my experienced opinion. Noisy and drafty accommodation. Conversations in the corridors and stairwells echoed around the whole building. Smokers' cigarette smoke somehow drifted into my room. WiFi was non-existent. In summary, bad hotel for business travellers....

"The hotel was very nice and as expected, good breakfast and the food from the restaurant was first class. Travelling as a family a big draw of this accomodation was the pool. This was not the cheapest hotel around I figured this to be because it had a pool. I was a little surprised (albeit not the for the first time I'm Italy) that the pool was extra charge, and not a small amount either. "This hotel is first rate. The staff is sharp and concerned that you are happy. I had a long day and was beat one day, and the staff made me a pick up expresso to energize me. I enjoyed the cocktails in a sitting room near the desk, very stout mohettos. The free parking saved me 30-40 euro everyday. The village center of Fiesole is only a mile away, and has a pharmacy, bars and restaurants of good quality. "
