This is open recently in the November month and the staff are very co operative they upgrade our room and serve breakfast at table.

We had a great time at Grand Mercure. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the service overall was good. The atmosphere made our stay enjoyable and relaxing. However, there were a few maintenance issues that need attention. The cushions on the balcony chairs and the canopy were very dirty and appeared not to have been cleaned for quite some time. The curtains inside the room were also dusty. In addition, the balcony itself had a noticeable buildup of dust — from the floors to the railings — which seemed to have been neglected for a while. With better attention to cleaning and maintenance in these areas, the experience would have been perfect.

Filthy, disgusting rooms

Wow, as we entered King Suite our expectations immediately were crushed - our pictures tell the story of the condition and cleanliness of our rooms. After complaining we were moved to another room, an “upgrade” to a King Suite with a jacuzzi, well an “upgrade” wasn’t any better. After talking to the Hotel Manager we were offered that our new room would be deeply cleaned. After waiting for over 1 hour in the lobby, when we entered our room we noticed that the room was clean but very superficially, so the housekeeping needed to be called in to do some more cleaning and even after this cleaning our room was filthy. In our opinion, this hotel is far from the 5-star hotel so if you looking for a 5-star hotel experience explore other options.

Extremely bad

The check in process wasnt very smooth. The front desk were clueless about how to handle the crowd. Everyone were asking constantly about room being allocated and some confusions with existing guests about bills and payments. The room was allotted after a good 30-45 min wait. Now the basic need in a 5 star is the ac to work properly. I was outside the entire day and in the night i realised that the ac in the room turns off automatically every 30 mins and it has to be manually turned on. This led to an extremely disturbed sleep. Went to the pool the next day morning and found the water extremely extremely dirty filled with insects and dirt. Absolutely no one in the pool or near the pool side. Overall a very bad experience
