I had a very comfortable stay, the breakfast buffet was amazing, the room was clean and functional, and even though the furniture isn't exactly modern or luxurious, everything was great. The staff was very kind and helpful. I enjoyed the sauna too. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting Åland.

Top notch with everything you need and nothing you don’t. Clean modern rooms, spacious and airy. Good breakfast buffet. Pleasant and helpful staff at front desk. They’re used to the early/late ferries and are very flexible and helpful. I had a 1am ferry departure so they kept my bags for me during the day and then let me hang out in the very comfortable lounge for a couple of hours later on until the ferry terminal opened at 11pm. Only drawback would be if you don’t have a car/bike then it’s a fair ways out of the city center.

Clean, friendly and quiet.

I had an apartment style room with kitchenette, which was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were very friendly and the buffet breakfast extensive and enjoyable. There is a little Bistro next door for lunch or dinner, but just as easy to go into town and the supermarket and self cater. The property is quite a way from the centre and the port, but very walkable during nice weather, I did it every time! I would recommend and should I ever go back to Aland, would stay there again.

Thankfully we rented a car during our 3-night stays in Åland. This hotel isn’t located in city center. It’s a walking distance to city center where’s cafes, restaurants, etc. For us, it is not possible to have a nice walk to get to center, since the roads are rather like highways so there’s nothing to enjoy along the way. Bicycling perhaps doable and OK, only in good weather condition. Hotel staffs are friendly, room is clean, hotel is in quite area. There’s a common kitchen where is microwave, water boiler, refridge, etc. To get a taxi is easy. There are some transportation companies in the town.

With a car, it's really close to the center of Mariehamn, rather basic but all the important stuff is at a decent level, the staff is friendly and helpful. A bit better cleaning and some renovation would strengthen a generally positive feeling.

Positivt: trevlig personal, rent, färskt och mycket gott bröd vid frukosten Negativt: lite för dyrt med tanke på att det är en bit från centrum. Kunde ha kompenserats med gratis lånecyklar men de hade en dyr avgift. Äckligt snabbkaffe vid frukosten (en viktig detalj för mig). På det hela får det ändå godkänt

Väldigt fräscht och bra ställe till en lagom kostnad. En jättestor fördel var att det fanns ett gemensamt kök m matsal där man kunde tillaga mat om man ville. Bra att det fanns kyl och frys så man kunde förvara medhavd matsäck där. En bra kombination av både hotell och vandrarhem. Enda nackdelen var kanske avståndet till Mariehamn centrum, men fanns cyklar att hyra eller ta bussen till stan, då hållplatsen låg precis utanför.
