"The main castle and grounds were beautiful. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The pool/sauna area was very nice, but we were unaware there was an additional charge to use the facility. The rooms we stayed in looked nothing like the pictures shown on Expedia and were not actually located in the castle. They were clean, but extremely small and very plain. "This particular Bishops Arms feels as though it isn't quite convinced that it's a hotel. There is no reception - one engages the attention of one of the staff in the bar. Once checked in however, the room is perfectly adequate, and, as it turned out, acceptably quiet, given that there is a pub downstairs and it was a weekend. Breakfast is fine (can't speak for the cooked food as we didn't sample it). There is carparking, but it isn't free. "
