"I cannot sing the praises of the River Suites enough! We had a fantastic week-long stay and everything was perfect. The breakfast was brilliant, bar food was just as good, cocktails were top tier and the pool areas were really quiet, clean and relaxing. Also excellent WiFi wherever you are! As the hotel is located equidistant from Agios Nikolaos and Elounda you would be better with a car, although at the bottom of the street there is the bus stop for both places. Nearby tavernas we tried were also very nice. "

"This is a lovely hotel built in the style of a Greek village going down a hill to the sea. Our room was modern with a lovely sea view. The buffet breakfast and evening buffet meal in the main restaurant were very good as were the other restaurants. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to make out stay enjoyable."
