Smelly and itchy. Yuck!

We stayed there one night and we couldn’t wait to leave. The room SMELLED LIKE PISS (coming from the closet), not kidding. The bed felt itchy, we didn’t dare to look under the mattress. We didn’t expect much from a one star hostel, but this was totally awful. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

Excellent Location, Standard reflected in price

For location alone, this is an excellent choice. You won't find a better position with everything on your doorstep. Staff are very friendly and helpful. And while at a reasonable rate you very much get what you pay for. While clean, the rooms have damp/mold issues and the air con units, tv & bathroom fittings are very old. Functional, basic but old. For example, the tv was too small to be able to watch from the bed and there was damp mold in the wardrobe and mold all over the shower ceiling. However, this is what is to be expected for the price that you are paying. One major issue that would prevent us from staying again though was the noise. There is no soundproofing at all. Which is usually normal these days. Not only can you hear every word of the conversation from your neighbors and the footsteps of people walking through the corridors but if you are unlucky enough to be staying in a room with pipework you will hear the water running constantly throughout the night. The first night we got up several times thinking it was our own shower that was running. It was this loud! I wish I could say more positive things about this place but the noise issue for us was too much to consider returning to the property. A shame as apart from that it would be a great place for most to stay. Perhaps maybe if you are looking for a great location at a reasonable price just bring earplugs.

hotel a 30 euros la nuit !

hôtel ne mérite pas son prix, insonorisation catastrophique, la porte de la chambre ne se ferme pas, la fenêtre et les rideaux sont cassés, il y avait pas de lumière, personne n'est passée nettoyer la chambre aucun draps n'a été changé! pire une directrice qui se comporte mal en dirait que j'étais son enfant ou son mari, elle m'a reçu assises sur sa chaise en parlant sur WhatsApp aucune explication ou infos utile !!

Perfect stay

Stayed here for 5 days and absolutely loved this place! The staff were extremely friendly and nice, and always made us feel welcome when we arrived. The rooms were very nice, and cleaned everyday. Would absolutely recommend this hostel for both service, location and vibe in general!

Esta muy bien ubicado y las habitaciones están bien. Lo único que no suelen tener clientes de hoteles.com y aunque estaba pagada por paypal al reservar, me querían volver a cobrar al llegar al hotel. Se soluciono pero veo que no lo manejan y tienen dudas.

Great location, old facilities,not worth the price

The location was more than perfect and the staff was friendly. The room was very old but clean. Everything in the room looked like it has been used for 20+ years. The bed looked like a guest bed with a mattress. The TV was one of the smallest available on the market. The air conditioning was working perfectly fine; the bathroom was ok and even had a bidet. Overall it had the condition of a very cheap, rundown place but we paid nearly 120 € for one night in mid August which was the biggest ripoff for a hotel room in my life so far. The real price should have been not more that 30€ if it wasn’t in the old town of Marbella.

Very convenient hostal, very nice people. Everything was fine, however you could here people talking in the hallway very clearly, that was the only drawback. Apart from that it was a pleasant stay.
