"First time in the keys, captain pips was centrally located. We would consider this property a key west experience not a new and glamorous resort. We enjoyed looking at the ocean from the patio and the authentic feel. There are some amenities on property like kayaks bikes paddle boards, it would be more beneficial for residents if these facilities were available after 4 pm. Kitchen was equipped with enough to cook small meals and reheat items. Inclusion of a cooler was a plus! Pool was open 24 hours. Publix is close enough to stock the apt. "

"Highly recommend. They are doing remodeling right now. I was worried about this but honestly it worked to our favor. Fewer guests, front door parking, extra attentive staff. Our room was recently remodeled and perfect for our family of four. Great location in marathon!"
