"This place was such a wonderful find. I stayed on my way from Colorado to Florida and on my way back. The staff was wonderful. The rooms were beautiful. We stayed in the Steel Magnolia room on the way back. It was perfect. One of my favorite movies. I didn't realize it was filmed in Natchitoches. The location of the hotel is perfect. Right in town by shops and wonderful restaurants. Tressie at the front desk could not be friendlier. We loved her. I didn't get the name of the person who checked us in at night, she was so sweet too. I will absolutely be back to stay again. I highly recommend this charming place. "

"The actual room was the most disappointing. Old furniture and bedding. The breakfast was delicious. The grounds were maintained. The common areas were all clean. We would stay again for convenience... across from event center a block from Front street, great location."

"We always bring a black light with us to check the bed for fluids and bed bugs. We needed a new fitted sheet, but there were none available. So, we slept on the mattress pad instead. The shower and rest of the bathroom were gross. Breakfast was good"
