Manukan hotel rooms a the Independent

"I loved this resort. This was paradise I can only have ever dreamed of and spending my birthday here was very relaxing and peaceful. The housekeeping staff was very friendly, loved hearing “Morning Sir” everyday. The beach was just as beautiful as the pictures show however the jellyfish fish signs should be relocated so they are not hidden by tree branches. Food at the Bamboo Kitchen was delicious and the shuttle driver was great at helping us with directions and alternative transportation "

"NEVER AGAIN will I book at this hotel. For being one of the most expensive hotels in Dipolog, it's a DUMP!! The rooms are to small. The beds are to small. No amenities at all in the room. Broken bathroom fixtures that were falling off the wall. Toilet not secured to the floor... etc... I immediately asked for another room and the second room was WORST than the first room. The air conditioner made more noise than a brass band and the cleanliness of the shower just sucked! For anyone looking to book here... Do yourself a favor and DON'T book here and to another hotel. There are better places in Dipolog for less money. This place is a dumpster fire!"

"The room was clean and beds were comfortable but there seem to have an undesirable odor with the pillows or comforter sheets. We were not able to connect to front desk or room service since the phone was not working. Staff were courteous and nice. But have to speak in their dialect, Front desk lady was not proactive with internet password and communication was a bit hard. Overall it was an ok 3 day stay at the hotel Hot water was on and off and no water pressure. One day water was black and had to flush or drain it for awhile."
