"The room we were put in on arrival was very basic and small, the 2 drinking glasses were dirty and dust on the cups, no cutlery, plates available in the room so asked for a bigger room but I had to pay €125 extra."

"Beautiful view from our balcony and communal area round the front of the property. Very clean with great facilities and air con, the wifi was not the best so be prepared. Very steep walk up to the property which is doable if you are quite active, would recommend to have a car or motorcycle otherwise. Close to a bus stop, nice supermarket and town centre. "

"A stay at Strawberry is a sweet experience. Margarita was a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough for you. The Pension is spotless, pool lovely and quiet and breakfast each day had plenty of choices. Definitely a place to relax and unwind. Plenty of wonderful restaurants literally on the doorstep. "Sorry, but this hotel was shambolic. The balcony was nice and had a nice and certainly view over Skiathos but everything else was derelict. Usually I appreciate that one gets what one pays for, but what I was charged by Expedia for this derelict and rather dirty property was outrageous. Some may appreciate the noisy neighborhood as authentic but in my case it just added to the disappointment. "

"Ensure you contact the host in advance to arrange a check in time as this is not clear in the confirmation email. Even so, we were disappointed that we had to wait almost an hour to enter the room, despite emailing our arrival time, as the owner had decided to go to the beach. Otherwise, the owner was helpful. The rooms are in a beautiful terraced area and clean."

"Nicos, Katrina, Alexandra, Maria looked after us with pleasure, smile and friendly conversations. The property is perfect for us , 2 adults and 14 yr old daughter. The beach and restaurants were within 5 to 10mins walk. Supermarkets locally and the marina also. Breakfasts were excellent, wholesome and leisurely. "

"Perfect accommodation for our family as centrally located to transport hub for the beautiful beaches. The place had a lovely pool with loungers and towels. We ordered breakfast to be included, which was great and enough for our lunch too. Welcome air conditioning in the rooms and we stayed in an apartment which was over 2 floors, but it had 2 toilets one on each floor and 2 balconies. Staff were all amazing and super friendly. Wouldn't hestitate To recommend this hotel. There are steep steps to property..so wouldn't be suitable for people of limited mobility."
