Hotels with Swimming Pool in Mansfield, Massachusetts

"I recently had a very disappointing experience at Hampton Inn this past Easter weekend. Unfortunately, we didn’t even end up staying the night because of the condition of the property. I do want to start by saying the front desk attendant was wonderful—very kind, welcoming, and professional. That initially gave me a great first impression and made me feel excited about our stay. However, things quickly changed as we headed toward the elevator. There was visible water damage throughout the hallway—the wallpaper was bubbling everywhere, baseboards were chipped and broken, and near the ice machine there was a noticeable hole in the wall that appeared to be covered with a piece of wood. It already felt concerning. When we got into the room, it only got worse. The room had a strong, musty smell—like trapped moisture, which immediately made me uncomfortable. The wallpaper inside the room also showed extensive bubbling and damage, and the lamps were rusty and worn down, adding to the overall feeling of neglect. I’ve stayed in less-than-perfect places before and made it work, but this was different. The condition of the room made it impossible for me to feel comfortable enough to sleep there. My husband could see how upset I was, and by around 9:30 PM, we made the decision to leave and go back home. We didn’t stay the night at all. This was extremely disappointing"

"Looks like they are repainting and repairing the hotel. Smoking was an issue for us. People smoked outside their rooms or as they were walking through the outdoor hallways. "

"The website never stated that the hotel facility charges for $20 for parking… yes, it’s self parking, but you need a your key card to get access thru the parking gates. Beautiful hotel, but doesn’t really give you much. Other hotel will provide water, or even 24 hour hot coffee or tea self serve. "

"We requested h handicap room and what we got wasn’t that at all. There was no way for my boyfriend to take a shower. Also they filled in the whirlpool. Read the fine print because the continental breakfast is for a fee not free. When we first got there we went to the pool and it was great. But that evening other members through a party and took up the whole area. Food and drinks and children that treated the pool like a garbage can. The next morning we pulled out a towel from the bottom, food pieces and multiple wrappers from the pool. I teach my daughter to respect the rules and this entire group just destroys the rules. It felt very unfair that we couldn’t use the pool that was there for everyone because someone used it as their own personal party room."

"This is our go-to place to stay the night before we take a train out of Providence OR when we are going to the PPAC for a show. The rooms are spotless, the location is perfect, everyone who works here is friendly and professional, and the price is affordable. Highly recommend this gem!"

"Absolutely amazing that from the front door staff to the inside of hotel lobby staff they were all welcoming and very friendly welcoming gifts. The place was amazing. It was beautiful clean. I couldn't ask for more."
