Love the stay at Candlewood Suites Manhattan. Staff was friendly. Great location. Quiet room. I loved no daily room service, felt more private. Magnets for communication on door were a fun touch!

Great place to stay in the Little Apple! Availability is wonderful when KSU games are played away and bigger KSU functions are not in play. If you choose a weekend for big functions and games - book extra early advance. Clean, comfortable and great staff. If you are a late check in (after 11:00pm) be mindful of your surroundings as there were sketchy people walking, biking and driving around the lots (there are 2 other hotels next door) and the parking lot lighting for all is very low and dark.

Some stuff didn’t work in my room, or was not fully attached so they “broke” during my stay. Floormates were noisy but that’s not on staff or the hotel. But in a good location and I liked the space I had in the suite to cook, if I could, and microwave and had a fridge!

We chose this hotel over others in town because they were some of the lowest rates in that area. With as busy as the rest of the town was, the parking was quite simple. The staff was also very polite. The room was very clean. We had a great stay and would definitely come back the next time we are in town!

This was a very clean hotel with great service and in room amenities but it was a bit outdated. No USB slots, in-room TV service was clunky and antiquated. The decor was circa early 2000s and again, it was fine just very dated.

Rooms are nice, large and spacious, but my room wasn't ready at 4:00 and I had to sit in the lobby and wait for 30 minutes. Unfortunately my room was right next to the "gym" so I had to listen to the treadmill running in the early morning.

We have stayed here several times, but the last two times we’ve left disappointed. This weekend, our tv didn’t work so we missed the big game. I asked for help at the front desk, was told the next person on duty (arriving in 3 hours) could help, but I never heard from that staff member. Our AC would not get the room cold as we like it although we had the thermostat all the way down to 65. It was still approximately 70 degrees. The WiFi was lagging so bad it was hard to stream the game or do any work online. Unfortunately, we had already made reset for two future weekends at this property and we’ve been informed that if we cancel, we forfeit the entire cost of the reservations of $400 . We’re not happy! We will not be staying here or recommending this hotel to our friends and family. Loyal IHG customers, but we will be booking elsewhere from now on.

I really liked my suite, it has a full size fridge, the kitchen is very well equipped, the only thing I hated were my neighbors. They stayed up too late and they were really loud. I had to call front desk but this couple didn't care

This hotel jacked up the rate to luxury prices on a football weekend. Queen-size bed despite plenty of room for a king and no bed stand on one side. Blinking light in the smoke detector was annoying in the dark. And worst of all -- no housekeeping service during our stay. The staff were apathetic. In all, what a fail for the HUGE price.
