Welcoming and Comfortable

"The staff are very welcoming and happy to help. We found our Superior Room to be spacious and very clean with a set of windows that could be opened. There were also black out curtains. The shower worked well, and the elevator is speedy. The breakfast buffet offers a lot of variety, but I will say that many of the hot items were already cold. The front desk also has a limited selection of wine, etc. that can be taken to a "bar" area or to your room. Coffee and tea are offered freely all day. The parking garage is right across the street and, therefore, so convenient. When you put in your license plate to open the garage, make sure you remember the number, because you will need it to be able to re-enter. I was glad I made note of my rental car tag! The location is on a quiet street that is near restaurants and shops. The funicular is literally around the corner. I like that the hotel is not in the thick of the cruise bustle."

"The location is absolutely perfect. The views from our room were stunning. The staff were super friendly. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. However, the room itself was was pretty basic, lacking amenities like a coffee maker or a safety box."
