"Checking into the property was easy and straightforward. The rooms were nice and clean. Stayed on the second floor - took awhile to get hot water to the shower. Only thing that we did not like was my wife tried calling ahead to see if the room had a refrigerator, but when she called all she got was an automated answering system with prompts and was never able to get in touch with anyone to answer her question. "Perfect location, my favorite hotel in Madison. I’ve been visiting 3 times a year for the last 3 years since my daughter has been at UW and I love this hotel. The governors club level is the bomb- with breakfast, drinks from late afternoon until late evening, appetizers and desserts. Very clean, comfortable beds, shuttle service do helpful.
