Good basic hotel

You may not remember this hotel in a year or two, but it will meet all of your needs. It's located in busy Chinatown on a major road near the railway station. They have a Chinese style buffet breakfast, decent wifi, clean rooms, and offer a range of services. The staff were very professional and helped me arrange transportation and a day trip. My one complaint is that the water wasn't very hot, but everything else was satisfactory.

Poor noisy room, dishonest staff 很糟的酒店

Very Poor hotel. Old room with terrible traffic noises at night, could hardly fall asleep. Bath tube leaking water, called the staff but no one come fixing. The staff is kind of dishonest, the long haul bus service actually provides free pickup from hotel, the bus came late, we asked the staff to call the bus company, but they told the bus not to come over the phone, and asked us to use their taxi service which cost us 6 usd. Definitely a bad choice to stay at. 很差的房間，馬路聲音吵至天光，很難入睡。浴缸漏水沒人處理。感覺職員不很誠實，長途有免費接送服務，他們卻替我們打的。

Hôtel accueillant et très bien situé

Nous avons logé 3 nuits à Mandalay dans cet hôtel très bien situé dans le coeur de Chinatown. Beaucoup de restaurants à proximité immédiate, et également un distributeur de billets à deux pas, ainsi que trois supérettes. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très accueillant et véritablement là pour nous aider (ils nous ont aidé à récupérer un téléphone portable qu'on avait égaré dans un taxi!). L'hôtel est très propre, et la chambre confortable. Seul mini bémol: l'eau était un peu fraîche à notre goût, mais vu la chaleur ambiante, cela n'a posé absolument aucun souci.

Das Hotel liegt an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße mit vielen kleinen Geschäften und Bankautomaten. Einige touristische Attraktionen wie der Markt sind fußläufig erreichbar. Anzahl an Restaurants begrenzt.Zum Frühstück bildet sich eine Schlange vor dem langsamen und einzigen 2-Scheiben-Toaster. Warmes Essen wird nicht nachgereicht. Wer spät kommt, geht leer aus. Anfragen per internet werden nicht beantwortet. Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet.

A good choice at a good price in a good location.

We had periods without hot water. Walls must be thin as we could hear child crying at night. The bed sheets were very short. (At 179 cm, I dad to squeeze myself down to the foot of the bed. The breakfast was very good with mainly Asia dishes but standard egg choices could be ordered. Most dishes were left at room temperature and, therefore, were cool.

Close to the palace.

Very friendly and helpful staffs who helped checking and clarifying questions. Very helpful in arranging boat and airtickets in reasonable price. The place is close to the palace and yet away from the noisy traffic.

good hotel,nice staff,good surrounding area

The staff was very welcoming ,friendly and spoke great English. The rooms are clean and comfortable, not too big not too small. Wifi was good. The breakfast options not much (mainly just noodles and rice, and they kept running out of everything quickly.) There are Chinese / Thai / Shan's style restaurant near by on 81th street. some room still have cigarette smell.

Nice Hotel in Lively Mandalay Neighborhood

The hotel was very nice. All accommmodations were handled appropriately, and the staff was very helpful and kind. Not to mention, the breakfast buffet was quite good, as well.
