"This is a roadside hotel attached to a restaurant with some nice areas to sit and relax. The owner and staff were super friendly, and the rooms were nice and clean. There was no air conditioning, but they provided two fans that did the job. We spent most of our time visiting Pamplona and Vitoria, so we mainly used the hotel as a place to sleep. Overall, we had a very good experience at Aritzalko. Recommended!"

"It was about a 10 minute drive to reach from San Sebastian. It is located in a warehouse in an industrial part of the Astigarra suburb, about a mile (1.5km) from any shops or restaurants. Once you get inside the old warehouse, it looks much more like a normal hotel (though with an unusual layout). The room itself was very comfortable and, due to its location, very quiet at night. They ask you to pre-check in online, which is a bit cumbersome, but leads to very quick check-in once you are actually there."

"Limited community before arrival- no on site staff at all so a code was needed to access both the building and the room but worked all okay. Absolutely no WiFi- I WhatsApp messaged and was told they would be fixing it, sadly didn’t happen. Only stayed for 1 night so was okay for what we needed. The town however was amazing!"

"We had a brief single night stop over at Hotel Dolorea. Booked through Expedia, which seemed to cause some confusion for the staff upon arrival but after some investigation by the staff our booking was found. We booked a shared room for a family of four. Room was air conditioned which was a welcome relieve from the near 40C outside. Room was spacious with a very generous sized bathroom, beds were comfy and water was in the mini fridge. There was no kettle in the room. Room/hotel were accessed using a key code which worked well when returning from an evening meal. A bonus is the private parking in the hotels subterranean car park for 10 euros a night. All in all a good experience, staff were friendly and helpful. Beasain is a delightful town for an evening stroll with some interesting historical features."

"Great host, great place. Not so close to Old Town, no walking distance, but great bus service nearby the property than facilitates moving around the greatness of Donostia, such a beautiful, clean, safe region to visit... best gastronomy!"
