"The staff was friendly and helpful - 5 star!! Dinner was great, had huge variety to eat. The rooms need some renovation as they are too old. The outdoor sitting and dining area is massive - overlooking the ocean and nearby islands."

"It was a mixed experience - the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The location is great with white sand beaches and breathtaking views of the ocean and nearby islands. However there were some major let downs - the main dining and bar area is too old and not well maintained. the food was awful and they kept running out of basic food items and water. One day we had to wait for about 18 hours just to get a bottle of water. The continental breakfast was meant to have fresh seasonal fruits, but they served preserved fruits dipped in sugar syrup. The pasta served for lunch (priced at FJD 22) was made from cheap bottled pasta sauce. It doesn’t look like the resort owner or senior management care enough about the guest experience. The $75 buffet dinner didn’t taste fresh and heard so many complaining about the food. I feel bad for the staff who are super friendly and hardworking, but they don’t seem to be well supported by the owner."

"The room was clearly renovated and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. The pool is beautiful. Kids were the primary users of the pool. Both umbrellas and comfortable chairs were provided poolside. Of course, they always need more chairs because of the pool chair hogs. It has a small sliver of beach and you can walk further in front of another property. The grounds/landscape were constantly being worked on so it was a pleasure to walk around. It is located on Denaru, where many hotels and golf courses were located. I found I actually preffered to stay at the resort then go off property. The majority of staff were polite and helpful. The only issue I encountered was with booking transfers. I inquired at the desk about a transfer. A call was made on the phone and I was told either 198 FJD by card or 138 by cash. I declined as this felt odd since a previous ride cost me 65 FJD. I went the porter later and inquired about a taxi. He, at least, pulled out a list of fixed prices to locations which was 110 FJD, cash only. After making several phone calls, making my own arrangements was best since these situations made me feel like I was being taken advantage of at the time."

"The staff are incredible. Sail went above and beyond to get me here and everyone is so welcoming. They remember names and where everyone is from. I don’t know how they do it but I have never met a more welcoming people than those in Fiji, especially here. They have snorkel gear, kayaks and paddle boards ready to be taken out at anytime. I had such a great and relaxing stay. Would absolutely recommend anyone looking at Fiji to look here. The property could use a little TLC but I think that’s just life on an island with lots of humidity, wind and salt water."
