"Bad points : no towel rack or hangers in the bathroom; bed sheets were seemingly clean but had a grainy feel; there were bed bugs leaving us itchy all over; early check out (10am) despite 2 pm check in; no free breakfast;
Good points: friendly staff; proximity to the venue of our meeting
Overall: not recommendable; definitely not worth the money i paid for"

"I had 5 good and relaxing days here at Tropicana. An amazing building with pool, outdoor gym. and a restaurant. The breakfast was a little overpriced but okay. The staff was super kind and always smiling and helpful. "

"Good no-nonsense accommodation. Great value for money. Very short distance to the seafront, bars, restaurants, and dive shops. A little bit tucked away at the back of Sabang, but this is reflected in the pricing.

"The unit itself is fine, just as described and pictured in the listing, was clean and A/C worked good, though the WiFi was weak to non-exsistant during my stay. I mention that because itโs the main reason that I book certain places (I need WiFi). If they say there is WiFi and it doesnโt work, it really messes up my trip! The last day the WiFi came back on but nobody bothered to let me know they changed the password! Staff was very nice and food was decent (especially compared to options around...

"Ocean was not visible from room. Only window had bars over it and was one foot away from a wall.
No TV. No amenities at all. Bed was rock solid. Pillows were rock solid. Room was tiny. No bidet in the bathroom.
The room was very, very basic. Prison cell like.
Pretty bad value compared to a number of other hotels in Sabang that are in the same price range. "

"The house is very isolated. Not feasible to walk back and forth to Sabang, where the closet market is located. The house had not been cleaned in weeks, which meant the beds were very dusty. Recommend bringing your own linens.
There was no drinking water or wifi, and breakfast was not included as advertised.
Power goes out often (not Bahay Isla's fault), so good luck sleeping when the weather is hot. "
