"We loved the hotel our room was excellent, we thought the traffic noise would be loud overnight but it didn’t keep us awake . The bed was wonderfully comfortable. I loved that there were electric sockets right by the bed so I could plug in my phone.Our breakfast in the morning was wonderful and extra water for tea and coffee for my husband were no problem ."

"I stayed at the Wilson for a couple of nights when working in nearby Whitby, a ten minute drive away. Sneaton is a quiet hamlet near to Ruswarp and is very quiet so great for a peaceful night of sleep. The bed at the Wilson was comfortable with clean crisp bedding. The room was on the small side as it was the attic of the Wilson BUT I was there to sleep after long work days. "Friendly staff good food hotel in the centre of the town"

"The room is basic, but clean, warm and comfortable. Single glazed windows don't keep much of the road noise out but, had it not been for karaoke (which I was warned about and finished at a sensible time) I wouldn't have heard the pub. For the price, certainly can't grumble. Only main gripe was the fire exit sign, which I'm sure is far brighter than it needs to be. Bring shower gel! "
