Hotels with Breakfast in Malton, England

"Beach view from room was stunning, but windows desperatley needed cleaning. Lots of tea and coffee which can easily be replenished at reception (staff were much better this time!) ; rooms aren't tidied unless you request it, which I really liked as you're not disturbed. Location is fantastic, over 100 steps down to the beach but there is a public lift for about £1:50 return, or a number 2 bus every hour which drops you outside the hotel from the sea-front. Lots of eating places plus banks/betting shops near by and a very, very good One Stop round the corner. Parking is a nightmare, beware that I saw a traffic warden handing out tickets early Saturday morning. Lift to lower floors (reception is floor 4) really poor/slow/only carries 3 people. Helps burn the calories though - over 80 steps to reception. Bathroom and shower were really good. Overall positives massively outweigh the negatives and love it here; come by train, burn those calories and enjoy the stunning views, beach/superb sea and the heart of Scarborough! Fantastic value in a place with real character thankyou!"

"First time we had stayed in a Holiday Inn, chose it because they accept dogs. Very welcoming, efficient and friendly staff, clean room with everything we needed and comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast with a lot of choice. "

"Lovely hotel, perfect location - short walk along tow path to city centre. Large room and lovely bathroom. Excellent breakfast with particularly friendly staff - only one minor point is that none of the salt and pepper grinders we tried actually grind - possibly a known issue as there were sachets also available. Also witnessed that this hotel is very welcoming for dogs and has lots of things for young children to play with in the reception area."
