"Clean and nicely decorated room 3, a single room located on the first floor above the bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Great location in the centre of Skipton, very popular so it was quite noisy until closing time. Bring your ear plugs! The bed was a bit firm for me but otherwise the room had decent facilities including TV, free WiFi, kettle, desk etc. The bathroom was small and the shower entrance would be challenging for anyone over a size 16, so I could only wash...

We rang the doorbell numerous times too. Finally a man who lives downstairs let us in, informing us that "they never answer their phone"."

"The area was amazing . The room was well appointed however I had a couple of issues. I had little or no hot water / heating throughout my visit. There was an infestation of fleas in the kitchen window area. The fridge door shelf was broken meaning I couldn’t store orange juice in it. However with all this aside , I really enjoyed my stay and the bar has some of the best Guinness I’ve ever had."

"We stayed two nights at Miresfield Farm and its probably the best B&B we’ve stayed at!!! The location is prefect for walking Malham Cove, as the circular route passes the house. There are two superb pubs less than a three minute walk from the B&B, both serving excellent food and very reasonable. The accommodation itself was fabulous - lovely building, beautifully decorated, very clean and really comfy warm beds. "Great from check in to check out and everything in between. Jan couldn’t do enough for us and was very helpful with information on the area. Room was very comfortable with nice touches like dressing gowns available if we’d wanted to use them. Everything throughout the property was spotless. Dinner was cooked to perfection as was the Yorkshire breakfast. The choice of cold breakfast items was plentiful from yogurt to granola parfait to cereals & fresh fruit salad. "We travel a lot as a couple, and I also travel extensively with work. I have never felt so at home, so quickly, as at High Blean B&B. The location is certainly remote, but that is what we wanted.
