Beautiful escape in the mountains with lovely views and warm welcome. We had a great stay here enjoyed the quiet start to our holiday. Don't use google map to get to the property. Best to get google maps to bring you to Krousonas town center and then put in the property address. Google maps in Crete will have you go down goat paths and should not be trusted. The property is beautiful and isolated, so you need a car to get around here. Our host was lovely and accommodating. We arrived at dark which made it harder to find the property. We would stay again but best to enjoy for at least 3 nights if we come again. Thanks for sharing your lovely space.

Exceptional views and hospitality

A group of bungalows high on the side of a mountain with sensational views. Road access is good - sealed and wide. Excellent kitchen but if you want to self-cater stock up before you come because the local shops are 20mins away and limited. Alternatively, Eleni will provide excellent home-cooked meals using produce from the farm for only €15(+) pp. Recently constructed so well-insualted and everything works.

Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern SUPER. Sehr ruhig, super Aussicht. Pool ausgezeichnet. Anfahrt für Touristen, welche holprige Wege nicht gewohnt sind, eher nicht geeignet. Wir würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen. Vermieterin und ihr Ehemann sind sehr freundliche und kompetente Menschen. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und sicher. Herzlichen Dank

What an absolute stunning place this is and in such a beautiful location, the scenery is breathtaking, the Greeting we received from Elena was very welcoming and she made us feel very comfortable straight away, our cottage was very well equipped and a lovely place to relax, We have never been to such a peaceful place, the shared pool is very good and looks over the mountains, if you don’t feel like cooking then elena will provide you with a delicious meal and come with an amazing Greek salad, there’s a small town a short distance away to provide you with your essentials. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone and we will most definitely be going back. Sie & Annabelle

Wer Ruhe liebt und gern den Überblick hat

Die Häuser liegen etwa 750 -800 Höhenmeter über dem Meer und man hat einen traumhaften Blick auf die umliegenden Berge und Gemeinden. Man sitzt auf der Terrasse oder am Pool und kann den Ziegen, den Geiern, aber auch dem Treiben in Heraklion zusehen. Ständig sieht man Flugzeuge kommen und gehen, die Fähren kommen vom Festland, doch hören tut man davon garnichts. Eleni, die Besitzerin ist äusserst freundlich, bereitet auf Wunsch typisch regionale Gerichte zu. Wir können die kleine Anlage jederzeit weiter empfehlen.

... wer Ruhe sucht wird Sie hier finden . Etwas schade war dass das Restaurant nicht geöffnet hatte. Eleni ist eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Person. Der Ausblick ist grandios ... jeden Morgen der Sonnenaufgang über Heraklion.

Ein Refugium in den Wolken..........

Nach einem herzlichen Empfang verlebten wir drei Urlaubswochen in wundersamer Ruhe im Aetovigla Guesthouse - vom Duft frischer Kräuter umgeben, dem Klang der Ziegenglöckchen lauschend und mit unbeschreiblichem Blick auf das nahe Iraklio und das Meer. Wer Entspannung sucht, frische Bergluft , einen herrlich mit Bergwasser gefüllten Pool nicht scheut - der ist hier richtig aufgehoben . Die Gastgeber sind stets um das Wohlgefallen der Urlauber bemüht , versorgen mit frischem Obst und laden auch zum Kaffeetrinken - wir wurden sogar zu einer Hochzeitsfeier eingeladen . Die Gastgeberin ist eine super Köchin und lässt sich auch gern in der Kochtopf schauen - Erklärung der Gerichte inklusive. Danke an unsere Gastgeber - es war wunderschön - wir kommen wieder !

Séjour très agréable

Bon accueil. Logement confortable. Le diner que nous avons commandé était bon et copieux. Cependant, même en plein soleil, la piscine est un peu fraiche; mais nous avons pu nous baigner. Belle vue sur Heraklion.

Up with God and the Eagles

What an experience! So so beautiful and special way up high with the Eagles and you do see them. Eleni the owner is so bubbly and a joy to be around. She brought our dinner to our room the first night for a very reasonless price and it was delicious Definitely will go back, amazing!

Mountainside retreat

This is a lovely place to stay if you want to get away from the commercialised areas of Heraklion. Very peaceful, wonderful welcoming owner, well designed accommodation and about 1/2 hour drive to Heraklion airport. The six chalets are built on the mountainside farm belonging to the owners and provide great views to the sea down below. The local village is completely unspoilt, you will have a chance to practise your greek.

Tolle Zimmer, tolle Umgebung, tolle Gastgeber!

Wir waren die letzte Nacht vor unserem Rückflug in dem Hotel, da der Flughafen Heraklion in ca. 30 Minuten zu erreichen ist. Die Anlage ist sehr schön, die Aussicht atemberaubend, die Zimmer sehr komfortabel und stilvoll eingerichtet und die Gastgeberin und das Personal sehr herzlich. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und haben die Gastfreundschaft sehr genossen - zumal wir in den Genuss der Küche des Hauses gekommen sind. Super! Wir kommen gerne wieder und würden das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen! Vermutlich das schönste Hotel unseres gesamten Aufenthalts und das für einen unglaublichen Preis!
