"As advertised, this hotel doubles as an art museum. The decorations are jaw-dropping. Our room was comfortable, with good A/C and shower. The staff was friendly and attentive. The front desk staff answered our questions and helped us arrange a Mount Bromo tour, and even greeted us by name whenever we passed. The pool area was nice and, though small, was not used much so we had no trouble finding space. We enjoyed the two restaurants and the cafe, eating most of our meals there, and they even prepared early-morning breakfast boxes for us to take on our Mount Bromo tour. We enjoyed the daily tea, which was served in another very pleasant space. The hotel seems to be centrally located, within walking distance of parks, banks, and shops. It helps that Malang itself is very pleasant, cooler and greener than other cities we visited in Indonesia."

"A good hotel with standards that meet expectations. Added bonus is the view from the higher floors. Would definitely stay again especially at a discounted rate if available. "

"Quite disappointed with the condition of the room. The door lock was not functioning properly. No spare toilet roll and we ran out of it in the middle of the night! The shower gel dispenser did not work. Shouldn’t the house cleaning staff check on these things when they clean the room everyday? Buffet breakfast spread was sub standard by Accor hotel std. Food was lousy. "

2/5 Poor
Breakfast included, but it isn't!!
"We won't come back here. First impressions are king, and they were bad. First they informed us upon checkin that although we had purchased "including breakfast" for the 3 pax family rooms (×2), they were only giving us one breakfast per room per day. Ie, we were going to have to pay for the kids.
We ordered the kids room service that night. It took nearly an hour and was almost cold (kids fish & chips and nuggets).
My wife and I went to the restaurant, the menu was limited, so i went with one of the 3 Nasi Goreng options, none were available (in Indonesia?). Trying to sleep was a nightmare due to the heat (the AC was not up to it), and the outside road noise, and in one night also due to downstairs karaoke.
Also bad. Location - nothing nearby except Hawai Water Park, limited English speaking staff, poor and cold breakfast (except white rice), limited menu, tiny rooms, no luggage or cupboard space.
Good. Pool is good, staff are lovely, rooms and hotel is clean"

4/5 Good
Good hotel
"The staffs were amazingly polite.
I booked room only without the breakfast but they gave me free breakfast anyway.
The room was average, cracked wall here and there.
A little mold in the bathroom I think it's a common thing in tropical countries.
We stayed there for 9 days, they never changed the bed sheets or replaced the coffee cups with the clean ones unless we put the spoons inside the cups.
But overall, it was an excellent stay."
