"Very convenient hotel to stay following a late arrival at Heraklion airport. Rooms were very good, air conditioning very effective, good soundproofing for aircraft takeoff/landing., breakfast was very good.
Recommended for short stay (couple of nights) having just arrived. "

"Nice hotel, clean and a good breakfast. Website is not up to date, the balcony I was shown held a plastic and no room for much else. Also there is no rooftop patio which is noted on the site"

"The staff is top notch - in particular, Effie is so professional, knowledgeable, helpful and kind. A true gem! The breakfast is beyond compare and the hotel is perfect. A wonderful stay!"
"The service and warmth of the staff was evident from the moment we arrived. The great pool and restaurant were amazing which was great because we had been travelling for weeks and could not muster the strength to go into town."
"I loved every bit of my stay. From the staff to the services were all great. I would only suggest that the housekeepers do a more thorough job when cleaning the rooms. Overall my stay was great"
"Great all inclusive hotel. The staff is amazing, good food and drink options, property well maintained and clean.
The buffet restaurant has great food options, and there are a few a la carte restaurants you can also book as part of your package. There is also a crepe bar next to the main swimming pool and they serve an amazing espresso.
Room fridge is daily refilled with drinks included in the package. There are bars day and night if you want an extra drink.
There are activities for kids, but not many for a 11yo, but my son enjoyed playing in the swimming pool and drinking delicious virgin mojitos all day 😂.
There is a small shop with beach/swimming pool essenciais with very reasonable prices.
I never had issues with parking, although I stayed at the hotel most of my time.
My son forgot his phone in the last day and we realised only at the airport. I contacted the guest relations and they were very helpful to communicate with another guest to bring the phone to me. Thank you!"
"My stay at this resort was memorable. From the moment we arrived the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their attentiveness and hospitality made our trip easy and seamless.
The property was always kept clean. The architecture of this resort felt elegant, you can tell it was carefully designed. The breakfast buffet had a variety of options, and the convenience of being able to book cabs and excursions directly through the hotel made things stress free.
The resort had a peaceful ambiance. Even in busier areas it felt calm, I felt relaxed during my whole stay.
On our final day, my partner and I enjoyed a couples spa massage treatment it was worth every penny. The right way to end our trip.
I genuinely loved everything about this resort and will definitely return. Highly recommend."
"Everything about this hotel was excellent from beginning to end. Check-in and check-out were smooth and convenient; staff were very welcoming. Our family suite was wonderful. We even got a free upgrade to a room with an ocean view! The pools were amazing, water was clean and warm. Sun beds were always available, albeit not necessarily directly in front of the pool in the first row. We didn’t mind because we were travelling with our kids who are teenagers. The food at the buffet was varied, plentiful and delicious. We ate at Imperial Sakura and Kafeino and had a fantastic meal served to us each time. The snack bars also offer a diverse selection from the coveted gyros to burgers and sandwiches, salads, pizza, and fish. Yes, there are a lot of stairs at the hotel and yes, you do have to walk down and up a small hill to get to the ocean beaches. For someone with limited mobility, this may be an issue. Otherwise, we took it as great exercise, even in the Cretan heat and sunshine! Overall, it was a fabulous stay and we would not hesitate to recommend the Belverdere to others. "
"The property is very well maintained and the staff are excellent. The food and beverage manager in particular is one of the hardest working hotel staff members we have ever seen! There is a great variety of food at the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with items labeled for allergens, which is very much appreciated for guests with food allergies. The Taverna by the beach is a casual, relaxing place to have lunch. The beach is large and there are enough loungers to accommodate guests. Overall, we would highly recommend this resort, especially for families with younger or older children."
