"Great location, fantastic staff, and excellent breakfast We had a very good stay at the Hampton Inn New York Times Square. The location is excellent for getting around the city. The room was generally very clean and comfortable, though on the smaller side, which is expected in New York. One drawback was the temperature. The thermostat’s lowest setting is controlled by the hotel, and with the smaller room size, heat tends to get trapped, making it feel warmer than ideal. While most areas were well maintained, I did notice some dust on a few shelves, which could use a bit more attention. Where this hotel really shines is the staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone was friendly, courteous, and consistently welcoming. The front desk team was especially great. A major highlight is the breakfast and the breakfast crew, who were absolutely fantastic. The included breakfast was excellent each day, with a wide variety of options. The yogurt machine and toppings bar with dry fruits and add-ons were a standout. The breakfast team was attentive, hardworking, and provided a great experience. Housekeeping was also very good. Even w/ every 2-day service, any requests or needs were handled promptly and efficiently. We also visited the Interlude bar. The wait staff were friendly, and attentive, though one individual could improve on overall hospitality. It’s also worth noting that the rooftop bar is not owned by the hotel. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. "

"The room was clean and well-kept, which I appreciated. I didn’t interact much with the staff, but I do wish I had been told about the parking arrangement with Icon beforehand—I only found out at checkout and ended up paying more for parking somewhere else. I also wasn’t informed about any of the amenities, which would’ve been helpful during my stay. On the positive side, the housekeeping staff was very kind and did a great job keeping the room clean and taking out the trash. I accidentally left my laptops in the room and everything was exactly where I left it when I returned, which I really appreciated. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay, but better communication would make a big difference."

"We stayed here for a few nights to see a Broadway show. The location was very convenient. Our room was a decent size for NYC. Daily cleaning and free breakfast were a plus. The shower in my bathroom was missing a door which led to a lot of water on the floor but otherwise everything was in good condition.Use your vouchers at Carve for a breakfast sandwich or pastry. It was the best option of the three available."

"Great location with Close lots of great restaurants nearby. Older property, but very well maintained and very clean. Charming decor. A+ staff. If you’re not comfortable with tiny elevators, may be problematic. "

"When we checked in, there was hair all over the floor, even on the bathroom door. The bath amenities like shampoo were only partially filled, and the room did not smell properly cleaned. We could hear the elevators going up and down the entire time, and it did not seem like the windows were soundproof. The staff were not particularly friendly, and one of the valet attendants made us wait about 30 to 40 minutes to retrieve our car. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable and the location was excellent."

"Sunny room with a view of the Hudson . Quieter side away from Times Square but easily walkable to all of the Broadway shows. Stayed for one night with my teenager. Really appreciated having bunk beds so we could each have our own space. Would definitely stay again and wish I had tried Pods sooner."
