"Our Mother/daughter stay in Balai sa Baibai was short and sweet…the staff were very friendly, warm and accommodating. No frills and fanfare…basic accommodations, pool was clean. Place was quiet and the sound of roosters crowing in the morning was perfect! I love Filipino food…their chicken adobo was divine…banana turon and ice cream was the best! Hummus was also very delicious. Gambas was good too! Mattress could be updated, but overall…I would recommend this place to everyone "

"Very quiet and peaceful in the Romantic Room and Lava Room. The sea is a short walk down and each room has a pool on the balcony. The food is good, albeit at a resort price. The walk down from the road and back up is vigorous and sets the mood proper. I would definitely come back here again."

"A great value for your money. The unit was clean and came with a kitchen sink, large fridge and kettle. The bathroom was basic but clean and had hot water. Bedroom had a TV but we never turned it on, only gripe in room was mattresses were the 5-6in dense foam, very common in the Philippines but way to firm for my wife’s liking. The grounds were well cared for and the view is perfect for sunsets. Like most resorts the star of the show are the employees. Fabulous and friendly. The restaurant...

"Pros: I like the room/cottage style; it's quiet; there's a swimming pool; there's a big garden for relaxing. Cons: The location is a bit away from the city center (quite difficult for public transportation); bad WiFi connection Suggestions for improvements: types of mosquito next use in the room (not the round one but the square one); lower the price of the transportation service."
