"Bungalow quite comfortable and spacious bed very firm but suited us. Stayed two nights and think we were the only ones there. Very quiet but that was fine with us. We were given a lift up to main road on our departure day. Negatives, no tea coffee facilities after breakfast and no bottled water on second day or housekeeping. "We had such an amazing 2 night stay at the Jungle rafts. In such an idyllic location on the river kwai which was so picturesque. Was easy to find using a grab from Bangkok then the boat from the pier. We loved feeding the elephant early in the morning. "I booked this for my wife and her mom. For the price they had terrible experience. Room was not at all as pictures. Old and run down, hard bad, hard pillows, broken door of the bathroom, toilet flush didn't work. Buffet breakfast didn't have many choices and was poorly organized as far as silverware and placement. Overall, for $70+ a night you can get much better hotel. "

"Terrible stay in my life experience. The electricity went out around 5pm and the hotel had no attendant after many attempts to contact them. Finally, decided to leave as it presented unsafe issue under 35 degree in temperature. Finally, a guy came in around 7:30pm with an emergency light and we gave the key back but could not get THB500 deposit back as the office was locked. On the following day, we contacted the hotel again and again while hotel.com also tried to contact them but without luck....

"Lovely little place and the host was very helpful. Each day was an amazing and different breakfast which was a mix of Thai flavours. I was here in the down season so was very quiet near the river. I was the only one here, but it's perfect for a little group. But the place has motorbike/scooter hire and was able to travel to national parks and the Burma railway sites with ease. You get a good deal for your money compared to kanchanaburi!!!!"

" We stayed 2 nights in raft rooms on the river, access to these is not easy as we had to climb something like 150 steps to get from our room to the dining area and then a further 100 metres if we were going to the car park. On one occasion we got to the car and realised that we had forgotten something and had to do it all over again. Anybody with a medical condition would have been in trouble. Apart from the above the everything else was OK Would not stay again "
