"We gave this 5 stars because the location and amenities fit us perfectly and it was exactly what we needed. We stayed for 4 glorious restful days. Victor, our host, was very careful about giving us our privacy yet extremely helpful with setting up with anything we needed. Henrique, his helper was also very helpful. "The hosts could not have been nicer. They spoke both French and English. The food was outstanding for a fair price. I would not have eaten anywhere else for food as good. The rooms were clean and after 25 days of crewing on a catamaran the soaking tub was fabulous. The pool was the size of a family pool but just for us so it was perfect."

"The room was spectactular and the hotel staff were professional, helpful and friendly. The area around the hotel seemed dirty but the hotel is located acriss the street from the pier area. A rooftop bar, in the hotel building, caused a long wait for the elevator but once we were in our room we enjoyed the quietness of the space in spite of heavy traffic and many nightclubs nearby. All in all a very nice place to stay."

"The hotel rooms are constructed at an angle so each person’s patio is very private. The grounds are lovely with a nice pool. There is a restaurant right at the black sand beach edge. They serve a buffet breakfast at about $20 per person. The hotel is in a quiet, safe area. It is on the opposite side of Papeete than the airport. So taxi ride at least $20 from the hotel to the city center. Also from airport to hotel at night it was $50 taxi. I suspect that was a padded fee. "
