"We stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed the condo overall. We liked the location and thought the host and manager had very good communication; everything was as described. However, the property trash cans didn't have lids and the strong odor was offensive, we found dirty/used underwear in the couch, some dishes were dirty, and the shower was sandy."

"The owner is always available. The apartment was pretty and well decorate. The place is safe and feels like home. Thanks to Raul and his staff. We will be back! "

"The ocean view was stunning literally steps away from the beach sunrises and sunsets were a highlight! It was very comfy and cozy and tons of places to eat and have cocktails nearby; Mike was absolutely amazing and accommodating he is the true definition of a Host and made our stay even more delightful we will definitely be returning to Mares Guesthouse !!! "

"The area is quiet and easy to reach. The rooms were very clean. Bed was comfortable. The AC was set at a cool 70 degrees when we arrived. All special request were met. The rooms definitely have an industrial feel about them (which I don’t mind). The self check-in was a breeze. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t actually make it to the property until 4 AM. Wasn’t a problem. We checked in over the phone and via text the evening before and had the gate and room codes immediately. The attendant helped us with local food recommendations (all excellent) and was very helpful. Also, there’s a nice pub within walking distance with great drinks and staff. Very pleasant stay. Can’t wait for our next visit. :)"
