"Wonderful historic hotel; however, it can be a bit noisy from the metro outside, especially with the heat and windows open (no AC/fans provided). The receptionist helped us download the free city transportation pass we used to get to the Paul Klee Museum. A must see!! The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast service was exceptional."

"Air conditioning did not work in the other rooms. I had three rooms as soon as not working any other rooms no matter what we tried. You didn’t talk with the staff. Got a little warm during the day work out for Cell is very limited. Staff was very pleasant hotel was very clean"

"This hotel is a hidden gem. Felt new, looked new, and the staff was amazing. They were always so welcoming. AC, fitness room, coffee/tea service, and terrace seating are all a plus. The breakfast area and service were outstanding. Clean beyond the norm. Everything was first-rate!"

"There is not a full wall for the shower, and a 1/4" x 1/4" block to separate the shower from the rest of the bathroom, so prepare for water to be generally all over the wall and floor. There is also 3-in-1 soap/shampoo/conditioner, so make sure to bring your own if you have hair. One of the workers let us check in a few minutes early; the self check in kiosk will not work if you arrive before 1500. The hotel is 15-20 mins walk to any of the bus/trams to bern, so you will generally be approximately 40 mins from the city The vending machines are extremely expensive."
