"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. "This hotel has eveything you might need with well maintained rooms. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We received a welcome gift of Swiss chocolate, breakfast was well organized and foods were kept supplied. Coffees offered were plentiful and good. This hotel is right down the funicular from the Lugano train station.....no lugging your baggage, just wonderful!! If I were to be in Lugano again, this is the hotel where I would stay again!"
