"Room wasn't well laid out to be able to unpack, all closet storage was in the kitchenette so drawers were full of utensils. No bathroom sink, you needed to use the kitchen sink, no bedside table for water. The biggest challenge was that there weren't blackout curtains so there was always light streaming in to wake you up. Noted that other amenities like yoga and meals are included but at the price point I expected a much more elevated room experience.
Yoga classes were nice and all the meals were great. I would have appreciated some social events at night to have the opportunity to interact with other guests."
"The problems we encountered were mostly because of the other people staying at the hotel. The room next to ours left their dog alone and it barked until the reception staff was able to locate the people and have them quiet their dog, about an hour. Also the people upstairs were very noisy, very early in the morning. So, even though the hotel is very nice and has been nicely updated, our stay was not that great because of other guests."
"Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus.
The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area."
"This is so close to the ferry and downtown, we could walk almost everywhere. The only thing I would change is there should be a microwave in each room. It was downstairs by the ice machine. I like late night snacks but did not want to go in.my pj's. Otherwise perfect. I would definitely stay there again."
"This hotel has a nice view of the bay. The breakfast offerings and dining area were good. It is their standard practice to provide housekeeping services only after the third night of the stay, and then they didn't change our sheets. There are a number of restaurants available in nearby Ashland."
