"The Savoy Palace was absolutely amazing in every way - from the decor, cleanliness, style, ambiance, the grounds, the customer service to the food! Every single employee that we encountered showed such professionalism, warmth, and kindness. The front desk made sure we had everything we needed, made excellent dining recommendations and answered every question we had. We had our 6-year-old with us and as soon as she stepped into the Kids Club/playroom she wanted to come back every day. Not only was the playroom beautiful, it was also clean. Anna & Beatriz from the kids’ playroom were so nurturing, kind and were the reason our daughter wanted to come back every day. They were amazing! We LOVED everything about the Savoy Palace and truly elevated our Madeira stay! We didn’t want to leave!"

"The small gym was empty both times I went, which was great for me. I never saw anyone swimming in the gorgeous pool, possibly because it’s not very hot this time of year. Staff at reception very helpful. Located extremely close to restaurants and shops. Only thing I didn’t like was breakfast. They have 2 coffee machines that maybe fancy drinks which were great, but the food selection wasn’t appetizing. It was on par with a normal hotel continental breakfast."

"We had such a lovely stay and honestly couldn’t have asked for more. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and always happy to go the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. It’s the little things that make a stay memorable, and this hotel certainly got them right. We felt relaxed, well looked after and genuinely enjoyed every moment of our time here. Thank you for making our stay so special. We would highly recommend this hotel and would happily come back again!"

"Fabulous hotel stay. Large room with very comfortable beds, house keeping excellent, breakfast very good with excellent hot and cold food choices. Amazing pool with various sunbathing areas and sufficient loungers. Good snack bar for lunches and drinks by pool. Good indoor pool with sauna and steam room. Walkable into old town, with supermarket, and good bars and restaurants in local vicinity."
