"The stay was perfect. The hotel is established and you feel the history and class when you are walking in. The hotel staff is always available from unpacking your car and delivery your luggage on arrival to picking your luggage and packing your car back during departure. The service is incredible. The restaurant and bar are good with the variety of choices. "

"Every now & then, you find an absolute Gem, this was most certainly 1 of those occasions, the service at reception was simply outstanding both upon arrival & today on departure, all staff were extremely welcoming & friendly & although we knew no Italian (which is shameful English education system) they all spoke in good, clear English, the food was simply superb, every dish was cooked & presented in perfection, the immediate area around the hotel grounds was meticulously maintained, we chose a room with a partial lake view, but, in fact, it had a superb view & we were in awe. "I got sick while in Lugano and spent a couple full days in my room. I was so grateful to be at this hotel. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful and the room and beds very comfortable. The pool kept the kids busy. Once I felt better I appreciated the location. It’s right near the lake and an easy walk to the center."
