Great hotel at a very convenient location with lots of parking space. East Park Shopping mall is just five minutes walk. The big outdoor screen with authentic Italian pizza is perfect to catch up with all the latest sports events. The Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurant serve super delicious food. So addictive.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 4 years or so. It is a pity that Hotels.com has not always offered rooms, instead I have had to book through a competitor. It is very convenient, very close to East Park shopping mall. The hotel itself offers reasonable value with a guarded car park, though maintenance of the rooms need to be improved.

There were a few issues with my room when i arrived. Some things did not work. But the staff quickly attended to those issues and are an absolute blessing to this hotel. They are truly amazing and embody African hospitality.

The grand palace was truly a great hotel to stay in. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The location was great. The one drawback for us was the safe was on the very bottom and was impossible to get to unless you got down on the floor and for us older people that was impossible to do.

The Grand Palace Hotel is not a bad hotel. But it does not stand up to the high quality that is promised in the adds and on the website. Main problem is that in the details the cleanliness could and should be better: especially the joints between the tiles. And wow: does it take long before the water in the shower becomes comfortable...
