The Duke Boutique Hotel

"Cannot say enough good about the Duke. I travel and use hotels enough that I’m a Hilton diamond member. So I’ve seen a variety of hotels. The people at the Duke were friendly and very helpful. The room was modern and clean. There were USB outlets next to each side of the bed. The included breakfast was good. To include multiple gluten free breads, French Toast and pancakes. The location was on the 4th and 5th floor of a shopping center. So it had a grocery store and multiple shops right there. It was a block from the main bus station so transportation from the ferry was easy. Again, very happy."

"We stayed in Townhouse17 for 2 days as we were visiting Malta for a music festival so came here before it started. The hotel is perfectly placed if you are travelling around on public transport or if you hire a car. The main bus station is across the road with regular busses all over the island and there is a huge free carpark next to it if you hire a car. Breakfast is served in the local cafe and has a great selection of breakfast and pastries. The keyless system for the room was very good and worked well. The beds were comfortable and the room was soundproof with a great shower. We didn’t get to use the splash pool on the roof but it was a good size if you wanted to sit around but not big enough to swim. I would only stay here again if I came back to Gozo. Highly recommended."

"Overall the hotel very modern, clean, great location. I booked a 'City View' room with balcony but was given a back of hotel room with balcony on floor 1 that looked over the restaurant exhaust system and walls. When I asked for a different room they weren't able to accommodate. I did ask for a restaurant dinner voucher for two which they reluctantly obliged. The breakfasts and the dinner was excellent at their hotel restaurant!"

"I had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, which made the stay comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist whenever I needed anything. I really appreciated the level of service and how welcoming the staff were throughout my stay. Overall, a nice place to stay with a team that genuinely tries to make guests feel comfortable."

"The Carob B&B is an absolute must-stay in Gozo! Matthew and Clementa have clearly poured their hearts and souls into creating such a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere from arrival to departure. It’s the perfect sanctuary. You can spend the day exploring the island and then unwind by the pool. The location is great: it’s an easy 15 minute walk into central Victoria, though in the summer heat, taking the 306 bus down the road or calling a Bolt is super convenient. Our room had a breathtaking view from the balcony, and our only regret was not booking a longer stay. I’d recommend staying at least three nights to really take in Gozo. We will be recommending The Carob to friends and family and hope to return ourselves soon!"
