"The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and modern. The staff was friendly. There was a great games room with a coffee machine as well as a popcorn machine! Never seen that before. The kind staff made yummy popcorn and distributed bags to all guests! Nice!!"

"the bathtub was divine, yes it is intended for two but it works for one as well, no need to have a 'partner' in the bath, and it didnt take forever to fill, so it was used multiple times. the only suggestion might be to stock the kitchen better, i.e. the crappiest utensils/forks/knives - minor but reason i didnt give 5 stars. the outdoor grill didnt look too appetizing but a bbq is a bbq. the pictures reflect accurately. i would definitely stay again. loved the little beach across the road, fantastic walk with the doggie, good to have rubber boots for that, which i thankfully packed with me. friendly staff,"

"Staying at this property was so much fun. So many interesting things to look at, the staff were great (the hostage was a clever touch) the food was yummy. This property is full of history. I stayed in the jury room, the room was nicely decorated and the 2 beds (one mattress a bit firmer that the other) were different but both very comfortable. I had the best sleep in years. The room had a great view of the harbour, the mill and the concrete ships, The transom over the door in the room let in some light from the hallway at night but its all part of the experience. The room had no bathtub just a shower but as someone who has traveled extensively for work i can say without reservation that I had the best shower ever, I did not want to come out of the shower. I will definitely go back."
