Our room was really nice! It was the bathrooms the reason why we didn't rate this place better. We did let the front desk know Both bathrooms had mold in the showers. One person in our party is extremely allergic to mold. I myself could clean the mold off, which I did partially. The dishwasher had dirty dishes in also.

We couldn't find our condo because there is not a sign for the D condos. Then there is no sign of a door to get in the building. Thankfully, we found a security officer to help. The coffee maker did not work. The TV was hot when we arrived even though it was turned off, so my husband turned off the power on the powerstrip. The sofa & chair in the living room & the bathroom rugs were all dirty. The mold & mildew in the bathroom was gross. The whole condo needs to be updated. The "Conditional" fire safety inspection in the elevator was expired. The positives were: it was quiet &, if we had been there to ski, that was right out the back side of the building.

Great Trip!

The condo was far better than what we expected. Our place was clean, warm and very inviting. We had a slight issue with getting the TV's to work but over some time, we figured it out. Fantastic place, we would most certainly visit again! The location to the slope was ideal.

Condo in VT

We definitely enjoyed our stay but the directions to check in were very hard to find as well as the location and address of the condo. The location to check in was not numbered so again very hard to find. The phone number to the contact of the condo was unlisted. The condo itself was perfect for the 3 of us! It was definitely well stocked! We did encounter 2 issues: 1. The sofa sleeper mattress definitely needs to be replaced 2. Unfortunately we were in the middle of a heat wave and the air conditioner wouldnt stay on so the condo just kept getting warmer. Also, we did NOT appreciate paying for additional fees by the resort because we used hotels.com to book our stay.

It was quiet and plenty of room, with the separate bedroom and a small kitchen and living room, condo like setting. This is a sky resort so quiet in the summer and we had the whole pool area to ourselves. It was a bit of a walk to the pool house, so I ended up driving, but was still a nice quiet setting and chance to relax. The check in was a bit confusing and I did get lost trying to find it. You check in at a whole different complex. Once found, they were very friendly and informative. Will go back!

The staff @ Jackson Gore were exceptional! I was completely taken back when I arrived last week for my birthday...as I was unaware I would need a car to get into the town of Ludlow to pick up groceries for my stay in Solitude Village. When I asked Carly @ the front desk about a car service or shuttle into town, as I had no luck finding one...another staff member, Mike offered me a dozen fresh eggs from his home, and could drop them off to me in the morning. I was so taken back by his simple, kind and genuine offer, I still lack the proper words of appreciation! And if that wasn't enough, he asked me if I wanted...could make a small list of things from the grocery store I might need and he would pick them up after he got off work for me and drop them off later that evening. When I think about hospitality & going out of your way to address the needs of a guest with such heart felt generosity, I can only think of the staff at Jackson Gore, Okemo, Vermont! It was the perfect compliment to the picturesque beauty of Okemo Vermont which I enjoyed so much. Thank you & I look forward to staying @ Jackson Gore again next month!

paid for 2 bedroom, got a 1 bedroom

not happy about having a 1 bedroom after getting a quote on 2 bedroom and that's what I paid for. We had to spend $600 on an extra room at Jackson Gore and we 3 miles away from our kids at night. I hope someone reaches out to me about this.

I reserved and paid for a 2-bedroom condo at Solitude in Okemo for two nights and was horrified to find that it was actually ONE bedroom. When I told the staff at the front desk, they informed me that this has been an increasingly common problem from "third-party renters" such as VRBO. This is the last time I will be renting from VRBO and am telling everyone I know about our experience. I wish I could rate less than 1 star.

Nightmare check in. Only thanks to someone else's review did i find out check in was at a totally different location. Upon arrival, we were told our condo, arranged month's before had flooded and we had been moved to a hotel. I had arranged for a condo with washer and dryer and kitchen as we were on a 14 day driving trip and this was one of my carefully planned stops to do laundry and prepare food to meet our dietary needs. I asked for another condo and was told they were full - we found this not to be true. There was a big wedding at the hotel with lots of children. We said if we had to be put in a room please put us away from elevators in a quite location. Each load of laundry would cost $6. We were given a room right outside the elevator where families from the wedding were gathering and celebrating. I went back down and asked for the manager. As i began to tell her how unhappy I was, the person who had moved us into the hotel ran over and announced a condo had "opened" up. By now it it was late and dark and we had to try to find the condo on a ski slope in the dark. There were three cars in the entire parking lot all night! Not full! I fully believe we were moved because they didn't want to clean a condo for a one-night stay. This debacle took three hours after a long day on the road. Missed dinner. Left us angry as we believe we were lied to for their convenience. They should have honored what we paid for!!!

Unit DL7 had all amenities and nice updated appliances, but the (most basic) tea kettle and coffee maker were not usable (yuck) 😖 ... the kitchen floor was sticky, carpets in livingroom and bedroom need cleaning. This unit is in dire need of a facelift!!! On the positive, staff at Jackson Gore check in desk were professional, friendly and very very helpful!

The address on Orbitz website was wrong and the check in process was not clear on the reservation. The property was dated but clean. The amenities were not open during our stay. Housekeeping also did not come by the one day but the property did refund up the resort fees. Overall it was fine for a fall weekend.

Pull out couch sheets were not changed, they were all crumpled up. Yuk Also, bedroom was missing a screen so the window was wide open to our belongings and we didn’t realize it! We’re lucky nothing was take. While we were out. Otherwise everything was good
