Loved the room, the cleanliness, roominess, comfortable bed, nicely decorated room and outside Didn't like the thin walls between rooms. You will definitely hear your neighbors. Also would be nice to have a fridge and microwave. Overall perfect room. Just needs better soundproofing between rooms

Riverside rest

A vintage motor motel, with a little path right down to the river. Extremely helpful staff, especially since we arrived after midnight. Lots of local information in the room.

Neat as a pin and very comfortable evening and ni.

Very innovated and attractive decorating inside and out. Owner met me outside and led me in to do the-check-in. Folder in the room had great suggestions regarding the area and places to eat.

Spotless, nicely set up, very nice decor, very friendly owner. It’s my first time staying there. I actually have my own place on the river but was having some work done inside. I’ve also had a number of friends stay there. Everybody has found it to be top notched.

Nice little lodge on the river. No frills but we had a nice stay. Parking was minimal. Continental breakfast with toast, bagels, cereal, donuts, juice and coffee. We would stay here again.

In a small town, where there’s several motels dedicated to the tourism industry there, it’s shocking that someone could get away with regularly treating people the way we were upon arrival. We were treated in the parking lot as we pulled in. No other tenants or their vehicles in sight and, instead of kindly greeting a paying customer, we were immediately asked how many of us were checking in. When I explained we were doing a memorial for our dad at our property where we were camping and that Mom would be staying here, she stated that we were not all coming here to shower and only mom could be in the room. This is all before even an official check in. Why? I get that they probably deal with a lot of terrible tourists. We’re local. We just needed a bed for my mom. There was never a reason to treat us this way. Also, Expedia booking was less than what I I was charged at check in.

I was at this property for less than 12 hours. We needed a stopping point for the night. We came across this place and the price wasn’t outrageous. I didn’t realize until the next morning in an email I saw that the company asks you to be there before 9pm for check in. We called and said we’d be a bit later than that and she was kind enough to wait for us. Check in was pleasant, and the room was absolutely perfect - it’s too bad we couldn’t stay longer and explore the property. I will be back with the kids soon enough!

Beautiful location. Breakfast is not continental

Cutely decorated. I liked the lamps! Our only complaint was the “continental breakfast” was nothing like that word. It was the basic muffins, donuts (and packaged sweet stuff) that we are not used to for breakfast. There were oranges and some grapes that were frozen. continental breakfast makes me think of some eggs or warm waffles at the least. So that’s the reason we give 4 stars. Suggestion: just say breakfast provided no need to say continental breakfast and misguide people who might like to book for the breakfast. Other than this, the place is in a lovely location with a calm river flowing in the back which we really enjoyed.

Gorgeous garden with a swing by the river where I sat until a large turtle splashed to get my attention before letting go to be taken downstream. The breakfast is simple with baked goods, OJ, coffee, but it's served in a very pretty room. Lots of DVDs so we found one that looked interesting. The room was small but clean and neat, nicely decorated. We had a sofa that was VERY soft but fine. We would stay here again, it's a pretty location and Debbie is as charming as could be.
