"The Property faces Lake Lure which is a pleasant view. There's quaint restaurant around the corner. It had a nice little grassy doggy pad. And the hotel welcomes dogs sincerely love that and a few of the restaurant has outdoor seating so dogs are welcome."

"This hotel really needs to be updated. It is very old. Wow it is trying to compete and charging up-to-date pricing. The pool was nice, but in every other aspect of the hotel, it is very antiquated. The breakfast staff was very rude as people were coming in to eat breakfast and they were continually taking things out. The breakfast also should be beyond 930 you do not have to check out until 11. "The room we initially checked into had a broke door that could be opened by simply pushing the door. But Sky , the woman working the front desk immediately switched our rooms and all was fine! Great customer service by the way!"

"Well there are NOT 3 Hot tubs at this resort as advertised. There is ONE. It is small and attached to an indoor pool, full of children, and closes at 8pm. Also there is a 7$ per day fee to use it and this must be paid at the time of check-in. There isn't an option to pay for using the hot tub or amenities pass for just part of the stay. It's all or none. I ended up paying 70$ for 3 of us for 4 days and only used the hot tub for about 1 hr the day that we arrived. I inquired about a partial refund but was told by the resort to ask the place where you check in (which is about a 5-10 min drive away) and was told by the check in peope to ask the resort. #TheRunAround I just gave up. What a waste of money that was. 😑 Other thank that the room was pretty clean. The place is a bit dated. The TVs are old and only use local cable without Internet or sharing/casting capabilities. The nearest stores are a good 20 min drive. We did have a good time tho, overall. And the jacuzzi bathtub in the room kinda made up for the hot tub issue.... But I wish I would have known that there was only one hot tub on site and about the hours and fees before booking as that was my gf primary request. Idk that I'd stay at this place again, but if so, I would definitely plan my trip differently knowing what I know now. Hope this helps someone else.."
