"Bathroom ( 2) very bad, old and need renovation. No kitchen tools since this one was an apartment with kitchen, if you make food you need to yse your hand. Furniture, sofa, old and in very bad condition. Not recomanded"

"The property was beautiful and picturesque. Breakfast was good. The villa was spotless and very comfortable. Downside was the villa was right by a tennis court of some sort and they were having a game and were noisy late at night as we were trying to sleep. That was only the first night and the next few nights was better."

"We love our stay here. The apartement is clean, big enough and new. The view is great as directly toward Batam center port. Within walk distance to get McD, kfc, JCO, etc. They prepare the bed, towel and shower stuff to accomodate all 6 of us.The bed is quite comfy. Overall, we would stay here again."

"Ocean view priceless. Interior of the house is nice. Location is good, privacy. Communication of checking in not stated in expedia. Caught off fuard that we need to call first to receive inatruction. Security at the reception totally lost and bot ablw to help. To avoid hassle, contact the owner before checking in. "a pleasant 2N stay, hotel is located within walking distance to Nagoya Mall (if you don't mind the walking route) or you can book a Grab ride which is less than 5mins drive. Connecting rooms are available There are Eateries & Massage places just outside hotel, First Spa (24hrs) is within 5mins walking distance Bed is comfortable with 2 pillows Side note, hotel only issue 1 key card, extra key card can be requested with a refundable deposit There is no shower screen door so floor area would be wet after shower "

Aston Inn Gideon Batam

"This is my 2nd stay with Aston Inn Gideon Batam over the past 2 months. It's not an overstatement to say that they are the best hotel in the Penuin area. Surrounded by massage centers within 200m, most crowned with an average rating of 4.9 stars on Google Reviews, if you're prepared to be blown away by massage paradise, this is the place to be. The restaurant within the hotel only serves breakfast, but you will be spoilt for choices with great tasting local food, all within walking distance at any time of the day. The sound insulation of the hotel room was exceptional as we were not able to hear the slightest noise at all from outside the windows, the corridors and the neighboring rooms. View was not a priority for us at all, the hotel was neither situated by the sea nor was it a tall building. So, please do not expect any breathtaking views, we're just thankful that it let's in enough sunlight. TL;DR? This hotel is best for location, good service, location, great comfort, convenience, excellent value and most importantly, location."
